I was so impressed with the team from Stumpy's. The price was fair, the service excellent and they were very meticulous. My yard looked great after they left.

The crew from Stumpy's were at the house right at 7:45 a.m. and my husband and I were blown away by their teamwork and politeness. My trees all look great and they make sure they clean up everything. We have used Stumpy's before and will continue to use them. HIGHLY recommend them.

If I could give more than 5 Stars I would. I had 2 huge oak trees removed and the entire project was completed with the utmost professional service. They were on time (in fact early!), neat and the project was completed in an amazingly timely fashion. The employees worked in sync; each one knowing their roles. I wouldn't have any other company do tree work. Thanks Stumpy!

No question, they are the best!

I have now used them on multiple occasions to trim my 3 large trees. From the initial estimate where Glenn explains how everything would be done in detail to the appointment scheduling with Brianna to the walkthrough with the trimming crew on the morning of the work where the estimate notes are reviewed with the crew, and the final clean-up, the entire end-to-end process is top-notch and very professional!

I intend to call them again and yes, I highly recommend them!

I had the pleasure of hiring Mike Newcomb from Stumpy’s new South Shore branch to remove, trim, and prune some trees in my property. Everything, from start to finish, was fantastic: the pricing was great, Mike was consistently great at communication, the work was excellent, the crew was respectful and mindful of my property. Moreover, they went above and beyond to ensure that their work was done correctly and minimize any risks to my property, which I felt was in good hands. I cannot recommend them any more highly or enthusiastically. I will be calling Mike again for any of my future tree needs.

The most important thing to me with any tree work is the finish cleaning. When this crew left I couldn’t tell they had even showed up my yard was so clean. The crew showed up exactly when they said they would. When the team arrived, they confirmed the work to be done and where it would be done. One item they needed to do was to tie two trees together with a cable. They apologized that they would need to come back as they forgot the cable. As any good company and team would do they sent someone out with the cable so the work could be finished in one day. Total professionalism. Can not recommend them enough.

Have completed multiple jobs with them- single downed trees, multiple tree project across property, clean up limbs, stump grinding. Some included climbing trees, some included crane work. 5-star service all the way. Usually complete the job within days of the quote. Easy online payment. Rates are better than others around.

At Stumpy’s Tree Service, your trees are in the hands of seasoned professionals committed to the well-being of your property.

Tree Removal: Professional and Dependable Tree Removal Services

Tree removal is a crucial aspect of landscape maintenance, especially in Northborough, where severe weather conditions and tree decline are common challenges. At Stumpy’s Tree Service, we understand the importance of safe and efficient tree removal.

Our arborists are well-prepared to assess your trees and determine whether removal is necessary. We prioritize safety and integrity in every tree removal job we undertake. Our process involves:

1. Tree Assessment: Our experts evaluate the tree’s health, structural integrity, and potential risks.
2. Safe Dismantling: We use specialized equipment and techniques to carefully dismantle the tree in sections to prevent damage to your property.
3. Debris Removal: We ensure a thorough cleanup, including removing branches and debris, leaving your property clean and safe.

Rest assured that when you choose Stumpy’s Tree Service for tree removal, you choose professionalism, safety, and reliability.

Stump Grinding: Say Goodbye to Unsightly Stumps

Unsightly tree stumps can disrupt your lawn’s or garden’s aesthetics, hinder landscaping efforts, and pose tripping hazards. Stumpy’s Tree Service offers comprehensive stump grinding solutions to make those eyesores disappear.

Our experienced estimators will discuss stump grinding options during your tree removal estimate. Even if we didn’t perform the initial tree removal, we can still come out to grind existing stumps. Stump grinding costs vary based on factors such as the stump’s size and location on your property. Still, our estimators will provide you with a no-obligation cost estimate.

Safety is always our top priority. We ensure that buried utility lines are marked before grinding begins. Stump grinding leaves the underground portions and some roots in place (typically about 2 inches below ground level), allowing easy replanting with grass or mulch. Our professional stump grinders efficiently transform stumps and roots into small wood chips, leaving your property clean and stump-free.p
