I was so impressed with the team from Stumpy's. The price was fair, the service excellent and they were very meticulous. My yard looked great after they left.

The crew from Stumpy's were at the house right at 7:45 a.m. and my husband and I were blown away by their teamwork and politeness. My trees all look great and they make sure they clean up everything. We have used Stumpy's before and will continue to use them. HIGHLY recommend them.

If I could give more than 5 Stars I would. I had 2 huge oak trees removed and the entire project was completed with the utmost professional service. They were on time (in fact early!), neat and the project was completed in an amazingly timely fashion. The employees worked in sync; each one knowing their roles. I wouldn't have any other company do tree work. Thanks Stumpy!

No question, they are the best!

I have now used them on multiple occasions to trim my 3 large trees. From the initial estimate where Glenn explains how everything would be done in detail to the appointment scheduling with Brianna to the walkthrough with the trimming crew on the morning of the work where the estimate notes are reviewed with the crew, and the final clean-up, the entire end-to-end process is top-notch and very professional!

I intend to call them again and yes, I highly recommend them!

I had the pleasure of hiring Mike Newcomb from Stumpy’s new South Shore branch to remove, trim, and prune some trees in my property. Everything, from start to finish, was fantastic: the pricing was great, Mike was consistently great at communication, the work was excellent, the crew was respectful and mindful of my property. Moreover, they went above and beyond to ensure that their work was done correctly and minimize any risks to my property, which I felt was in good hands. I cannot recommend them any more highly or enthusiastically. I will be calling Mike again for any of my future tree needs.

The most important thing to me with any tree work is the finish cleaning. When this crew left I couldn’t tell they had even showed up my yard was so clean. The crew showed up exactly when they said they would. When the team arrived, they confirmed the work to be done and where it would be done. One item they needed to do was to tie two trees together with a cable. They apologized that they would need to come back as they forgot the cable. As any good company and team would do they sent someone out with the cable so the work could be finished in one day. Total professionalism. Can not recommend them enough.

Have completed multiple jobs with them- single downed trees, multiple tree project across property, clean up limbs, stump grinding. Some included climbing trees, some included crane work. 5-star service all the way. Usually complete the job within days of the quote. Easy online payment. Rates are better than others around.

Expert Tree Pruning for a Stunning Landscape

At Stumpy’s Tree Service, we understand the vital role trees play in enhancing the beauty and ambiance of your property. Our certified arborists are skilled in precision tree pruning, ensuring your landscape remains healthy, safe, and visually appealing. Here’s how our tree pruning services can elevate your outdoor environment:

Customized Structural Pruning

When our arborists step onto your property, they view each tree as a unique element within your landscape. We carefully consider each tree’s specific role in the broader context, tailoring our approach to meet its individual needs.

Our tree pruning services not only enhance the beauty of your property but also ensure stability and safety, particularly in the face of New England’s unpredictable weather conditions.

Whether you’re preparing for a solar installation, safeguarding power and communication lines, creating space for an addition, or simply brightening specific areas with natural light, our arborists have the expertise to provide the ideal solution. If pruning alone isn’t sufficient, our experts will offer well-informed advice on tree removal as a more suitable alternative.

Safe and Efficient Tree Removal

Tree removal is critical to landscape maintenance, especially in a region like Massachusetts, where harsh winters and tree decline are common challenges. At Stumpy’s Tree Service, our arborists are well-prepared to safely remove trees from your property, prioritizing your safety and peace of mind. Our tree removal process is marked by professionalism, efficiency, and care for your property.

Our Approach to Tree Removal

1. Thorough Assessment: Our experts conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine the best approach for safe tree removal, considering the tree’s condition, size, location, and potential hazards.
2. Precision Execution: Using state-of-the-art equipment and proven techniques, we carefully and precisely remove the tree, minimizing impact on your surroundings.
3. Clean-Up and Disposal: We leave your property pristine by cleaning up all debris and responsibly disposing of the tree material, ensuring minimal disruption to your landscape.

Our commitment to safety and integrity is paramount in every tree removal job.

Say Goodbye to Unsightly Stumps with Stump Grinding

Unsightly tree stumps can be a nuisance, disrupting the aesthetics of your lawn or garden, hindering mowing and landscaping, and posing tripping hazards during outdoor activities. Stumpy’s Tree Service offers comprehensive stump grinding solutions to restore the beauty and functionality of your outdoor space.

Our Stump Grinding Process

1. Professional Assessment: Our experienced estimator will discuss the option of stump grinding during your tree removal estimate. Even if we didn’t perform the initial tree removal, we can still come out to grind existing stumps.
2. Cost Estimates: Stump grinding costs vary based on the stump’s size and location on your property. Our estimators provide no-obligation cost estimates; safety is always our top priority.
3. Safety Measures: We ensure that buried utility lines are marked to prevent accidents before grinding. Safety is paramount in every aspect of our work.
4. Efficient Transformation: Our professional stump grinders efficiently transform stumps and roots into small wood chips, allowing for easy replanting with grass or mulch.

With Stumpy’s Tree Service, you can bid farewell to unsightly stumps and enjoy a more functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space.
